The Story Behind REFLEKT
For the life you’re living. For the stories worth keeping.
My sister is my closest person.
She lives in India, and I live in the United States.
In the summer of 2026, I went to visit her, and we took hundreds of photos together.
I keep going back to them.
To anyone else, they’re just pictures. But I know what we were laughing about in one, what she told me just before another, and how hard it was to say goodbye in the last one.
Those photographs hold so much more than what you can see.
They hold conversations, feelings, and little moments that only the two of us understand.
And I don’t want those stories to fade.
That feeling, wanting to hold onto not just a moment but everything it meant, became an important part of why I started building REFLEKT.
Where My Journey Began
I’m a pharmacist by training, and I hold an MS in Regulatory Affairs for Medical Devices from Northeastern University.
My education taught me to think carefully about health, how our bodies change, and the responsibility that comes with building products people rely on.
But I’ve also been drawn to something that doesn’t always fit neatly into medical information or measurements.
The human experience behind it.
How we’re feeling. What we’re going through. What we need from the people around us. And how differently each of us experiences life’s changes.
For some, it’s navigating the changes of a menstrual cycle.
For others, it’s pregnancy: the excitement, uncertainty, physical changes, and emotions that come with it.
Or postpartum, when life changes in so many ways and finding time for yourself can become difficult.
And for many of us, it’s simply everyday life. The good days, the overwhelming days, and everything in between.
I believe everyone deserves a little more space to understand themselves, without feeling pressured to explain or document every part of their life.
Why I Created REFLEKT
I wanted to create something that felt different from another health tracker or another app asking you to do more.
Something more personal.
A thoughtful, private space to check in with yourself, notice patterns, and reflect on how you’re feeling.
That’s how REFLEKT began.
REFLEKT brings together everyday wellness and dedicated experiences for cycle wellness, pregnancy, and postpartum.
A quick moment to check in whenever you need one.
A way to recognize changes in your body, energy, and emotions over time.
A place to capture the moments you want to remember.
And during pregnancy and postpartum, a way to ask for the kind of support you need, without having to share every private thought. That part is still in early access, and I’m building it carefully.
My background in pharmacy and regulatory affairs influences how I think about building REFLEKT.
I believe wellness technology should respect people’s privacy, be clear about its limitations, and never pretend to replace professional medical care.
But most importantly, I want REFLEKT to feel human.
Not another obligation.
Just a little space for yourself, whatever chapter of life you’re in.
How Memory Line Was Born
As I kept returning to the photographs from my visit with my sister, another thought stayed with me.
We save so many photographs, but how many of us save the stories behind them?
A picture can show us a birthday, a holiday, a wedding, a first ultrasound, or a family gathering.
But it doesn’t always capture what someone said, how we felt, or why that moment meant so much.
And sometimes, those little details become the most precious part of a memory.
I wanted to find a way to preserve them.
Not through complicated scrapbooking or pages of writing, but through a few thoughtful questions and the photographs we already love.
That idea became Memory Line.
A way to turn your photos, words, and meaningful moments into beautifully designed pages and keepsakes.
Something you can revisit, gift to someone you love, or pass down.
It might be a trip with your best friend.
Your parents’ anniversary.
A grandparent’s smile.
The months before welcoming a baby.
A cultural celebration that brings everyone together.
Or an ordinary afternoon you wish you could experience one more time.
Memory Line is for anyone, at any stage of life, because everyone has a story worth remembering.
And you shouldn’t need to be a writer or designer to tell yours.
Two Experiences, One Belief
To me, REFLEKT and Memory Line are connected by something simple.
REFLEKT is about the life you’re living.
Memory Line is about the stories you want to keep.
One helps you make space for yourself in the present.
The other helps you hold onto the moments that make your life yours.
Both come from the same belief:
Every life has meaning. Every person has a story. And sometimes, the smallest moments become the ones that matter most.
I’m building REFLEKT with that belief at the center of every experience.
And I hope that, in some small way, it becomes part of your story too.
With love,
